Jarvis AI help center
Short, practical guides for the questions people ask most: microphone problems, voice and language settings, uploads and scanning, installing the app, and accessibility.

8 of 8 answers
Why isn't my microphone working?
Jarvis prefixes every mic problem with “Listen properly” and names the exact reason: permission denied, no microphone found, an insecure (non-https) page, or an empty transcript. Tap Retry mic on the banner to re-request permission and restart listening in one step.
How do I change the voice, language, or speaking speed?
Open the settings menu in the header to pick your language from 145 options, choose the strong male Jarvis voice, and set the text-to-speech speed. Your choices are saved on the device and restored the next time you open Jarvis AI.
How do I upload an image or PDF for Jarvis to read?
Tap the paperclip in the input bar to attach images, PDFs, DOCX or CSV files, or use “Scan with camera” on mobile. Preview chips appear before you send, and you can adjust contrast, deskew, grayscale and OCR language for better accuracy. See OCR scan to PDF for the full workflow.
How do I ask follow-up questions about a scan?
After an analysis, Jarvis keeps the last scan in context, so your next question is answered against the same image or document. Suggested follow-up chips appear under the answer.
How do I get citations and sources?
Switch the toggle to Deep Research before sending. Jarvis streams intermediate web findings into the side panel and adds numbered inline citations plus a coverage note. Details on the Deep Research page.
How do I install Jarvis AI on my device?
On Android and desktop Chrome, tap the download button in the header — Jarvis shows a short install progress while the app is prepared for your device. On iPhone or iPad, open Jarvis in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. The installed app opens full screen in portrait.
Does the installed app work without internet?
The installed app caches its shell and the pages you have already visited, so it launches instantly and stays browsable offline. Live answers, Deep Research and scanning need a connection.
Can I turn off the mascot animations?
Yes — enable Reduce Motion in settings. The splash screen, thinking poses, mascot peeks and rating reactions are replaced with static, quiet states.
Still stuck?
Check the FAQ for quick answers, or simply ask Jarvis directly — describe what happened and it will walk you through it.
